I live about 5 min form the New Mexican border, and about an hour and a half from one of my favorite gems in the South West. White Sands, although hot, is one of the most stunning places to spend the afternoon/evening. I set up this little shoot in effort to spend some time there, and hang with one of my best friends and her fiance. Lisa and i have known each other since we were kids, and I was so happy that it worked out as well as it did. I have never felt so sure about the direction I am headed then as of right now, and I know it sounds silly to say such a big comment, but each morning I learn something new. This is not to say i learn something I&#8217;m excited about learning. Some are hard lessons, about my self and about the world; And I do not mean it in a &#8220;I learn a new word from the dictionary every day&#8221; kind of ways, but rather just that i am not standing still anymore. I am not satisfied with simply being, and excepting that &#8220;things just are what they are&#8221;, but rather that I should be in a consistent state of moving forward.
